2006 Equine Elite Auction

Equine Elite, the pearl of the auction world, is running its 2nd Edition at the Academy in Hooge-Mierde, The Netherlands, just one day prior to the Global Dressage Forum, on 28th October 2006.

Within 48hrs of opening the sales office, more than 85% of the seating capacity was sold out so now, with still 5 weeks to go, there are very few seats left and just a couple of VIP tables.

Equine Elite enjoyed unparamounted success last year, not just on financial results, but on a fantastic atmosphere which was reminiscent of a 5-star hotel and theatre production. The selection committee for the horses consists of a diverse group of dressage professionals, something that is not seen within the Dressage auction world. The selection committee includes two O-level judges (Jan Peeters and Frances Verbeek), three international FEI riders (Laurens van Lieren, Kebie vd Heyden and Imke Schellekens-Bartels) and two international horse dealers (Craig Rawlins and Diederik Wigmans).

Another interesting point of Equine Elite is that is the only auction of dressage horses in the world, that publishes all x-ray results in the catalogue per horse, whilst the vets are also present to answer any questions. It is possible to try the Auction horses in September and October right up until the auction itself on 28th October.
