2006 European Pony Championships
The German Equestrian Federation has released the names of the riders and ponies that will be on the German Pony team for the 2006 European Pony Championships in Saumur, France, July 20-23, 2006.
German Pony Chef d'Equipe Cornelia Endres selected the following riders for the team:
- Louisa Lüttgen - Dornik B
- Sanneke Rothenberger - Konrad
- Lydia Camp - Dulcia
- Annabel Frenzen - Flamenco Star
- Reserve: Benice Hoogen - Dornik Double
Surprisingly absent from the German pony team is Miriam Licinio and FS Don't Worry. The combination won the CDI-P Saumur in April, but the pony got injured at the CDIO-P Aach last weekend. Licinio placed second in the preliminary test with 73.650 % but had to withdraw from the competition the next day due to an injury.
