Swedish Grand Prix rider Minna Telde, who has been partners with Jan Brink for years, is leaving Tullstorp Stables to go independent. Telde is becoming the head trainer at EMV Stables in Skaane, Sweden, and will take several horses with her, including Don Charly
, Winnie, Clinton, Topaasch and some other horses in training to be sold.
"Jan and I are separating, but we are still going to work together with the stallions and help each other with the training at home. We are still very good friends," Telde told Eurodressage.
Sponsored by the company EMV Stainless and Birgitta Kjellin and Johan Ifverson, owners of Don Charly and Topaasch, Telde has taken the opportunity to untie herself from Tullstorp and start a new life at EMV. "I am moving and will start a stable of my own one hour from Tullstorp," Telde said.
Telde was member of the Swedish Olympic Dressage Team at the 2004 Games in Athens. In January 2005 her top horse Bjorsells Sack sold to Denmark and she is now relying on her extremely talented Prix St Georges horse Don Charly (by Don Gregory) to put her in the limelight at competitions.
