Simsalabim, Price Highlight at 2005 Performance Plus Auction

2005 Performance Plus Auction

The super moving Simsalabim became the price highlight at the 2005 Performance Plus auction in Vragender, The Netherlands. The 2-year old Oldenburg stallion by Sandro Hit x Alabaster sold as a stallion prospect to Joop van Uytert and Ad Valk for 120,000 euro.

The second highest priced horse was the 3-year old KWPN stallion Vonkenstein (Ferro x Havidoff). The black dressage prospect achieved a knock down price of 90,000 euro and sold to Sweden. The 3-year old Westfalian mare Florentina (Florestan x Weltmeyer), the full sister to Florencio and in foal to Sandro Hit, sold for 60,000 euro to France. The licensed stallion Rubin's Touch, by Rubinstein out of a full sister to Piccolino (Prince Thatch xx x Ganymed), sold to Germany for 50,000 euro.

The 2005 Performance Plus auction had a turnover of 1,203,500 euro. 65 horses sold in total achieving an average price of 18,000 euro per horses. There was a large interest from abroad as several horses sold to the USA, Spain, Switzerland, France, Sweden, Germany and Belgium.
