2005 CDIO Aachen
Dutch dressage Chef d'Equipe Sjef Janssen announced the Dutch team that will compete at the CDIO Aachen August 23-28, 2005. Janssen made only one change to the team that won the silver medal at the 2005 European Dressage Championships in Hagen, Germany.
He replaced Sven Rothenberger with Hagen reserve rider Kirsten Beckers.
The Dutch team for Aachen will consist of:
- Anky van Grunsven - Salinero
- Edward Gal - Lingh
- Laurens van Lieren - Hexagon's Ollright
- Kirsten Beckers - Broere Jazz
The CDIO Aachen is the biggest dressage show of the year. Last year, Anky van Grunsven was the first Dutch rider to win the individual competition and to have her name pasted on the Aachen Wall of Fame.
