The 4-year old KWPN licensed stallion UB40 has changed riders and is now in training with Kebie van der Heyden. In 2004, UB40 placed third in the Champions' Ring at the 2004 KWPN stallion licensing and sold at the KWPN Select Sale stallion auction

for the top price of 145,000 euro to Wim Zegwaard. Until last week, UB40 was trained by Mischa Koot at Bartels' Horse Academy in Hooge Mierde.

"The transfer to Kebie van der Heyden finalisted last week after negotians between Stable Korenbloem and Stable Zegwaard were completed," Kebie's husband Craig Rawlins told Eurodressage. "UB40's semen will still be available at De Dalhoeve."

UB40 will continue his dressage career under Van der Heyden, who has planned her show debut with this chestnut at the 2005 Zwolle International Stallion Show. Zegwaard and Rawlins/Van der Heyden have been long time associates, providing Zegwaard's wife Vera the Prix St Georges horses Limited Edition and Neon.

At this 2005 KWPN Stallion licensing, Zegwaard again bought the price highlight, Valeron (Sandro Hit x Houston), for 150,000 euro. This dark bay licensed stallion is also in training with Kebie van der Heyden.
