Dutch A-team rider Edward Gal has a bright future ahead of him. Gal got the ride over the AES licensed stallion TC Ravel. This dark bay Dutch bred gelding by Contango out of Hautain (by Democraat x Wisconsin) was previously competed by Adrianne Wigmans

in the KWPN Stallion Competition series and Pavo Cup.

"TC Ravel has been in training with us for a few months now," said Nicole Werner, Gal's business partner. "He's a horse with a lot of quality in his movements, he is very eager to work and is hot in a good way." Gal will be showing TC Ravel, who is owned by Tim Coomans, for the first time at the Zwolle International Stallion Show. The horse is Prix St Georges ready but will first be shown at fourth level. In Zwolle, Gal will also be riding stallions Magic Rodrigo, Lillehammer, Nourejev, and Gribaldi.

And there is more Edward Gal related news. This summer, Gal will be riding a new kur to music on Lingh at Outdoor Gelderland in Arnhem, The Netherlands. Through Nicole Werner, Gal got in touch with DJ Jochen Miller of the mega club De Matrixx in Nijmeghen. Miller and his partner Boy van Lamoen have agreed to compose Gal's new freestyle. The musical duo will be mixing a trance based kur for Gal, which will serve as Gal's 2005 European Champions Freestyle ride.

"In Amsterdam Jochen and Boy came to watch Edward and Lingh and we've talked about the possibilities," Werner said. "They liked our kur to music the most, but believed it was up for renewal. Even though our current music has a lot of modern parts, I think it would be awesome to get completely rid of all classical music in it and have a total trance based Kur."
