Hanoverian Auctions in Verden

The 2004 auction year closed with a top result for the Hanoverian verband. A new record turnover over 1,126.000 euro was achieved at a November auction. Mainly customers from abroad did their errands in the Verden Niedersachsenhalle. The average price for a horse was 11,490 euro

Buyers from Morocco paid 35,500 euro for the best horse, the jumping prospect Abrisco by Adlantus As/Lanthan (breeder: Ralf Böttjer, Bremen – exhibitor: Peter Broka, Worpswede). Seven horses in total were bought by customers from the north-west of Africa.

Dundee M by Del Piero was the most expensive dressage youngster. He was sold for 32,000 euro to customers from North Rhine-Westphalia. The chestnut gelding out of a Falkland/Tiroler xx-dam was bred by Hubert Morick from Oyten.

59 of the 98 Hanoverian horses auctioned will be exported. Customers from totally 16 countries purchased in Verden. Eleven riding horses have found new riders in Spain and in the United States, seven prospects will travel to Morocco and Great Britain. Customers from Serbia bought three Hanoverians, from Slowenia two, one youngster was sold to Japan. Apart from that, bidders from Austria, Belgium, Canada, Switzerland, Spain, France, Italy, Ireland, Mexico and Sweden were successful.
