2004 Performance Plus: A Look into the Collection 5

Cat # 41: Weltmeyer x Gambler's Cup xx - Bay gelding - born 2001

Catalogue number 41 is a beautiful bay dressage gelding who is extremely rideable and uncomplicated to handle.

Sire of this 3-year old bay gelding is the world famous Weltmeyer, a foundation stallion in the renowned Hanoverian W-line.

Weltmeyer has produced an enormous list of licensed offspring, including Wolkenstein I and II, Wolkentanz I and II, White Star, and Welt Hit I, II, III, IV, V and VI.

The sire of Weltmeyer, World Cup I was champion of the stallion selection and of his age group in the performance test.

Weltmeyer himself won everything there was to be won as a young horse. He was champion of the selection, performance test champion and German national champion.

The dam’s line of this 3-year old goes back via the thoroughbred Gambler’ s Cup xx to another Hanoverian stallion Alexander.

Cat # 44: "Udermo" Hors la Loi x Sandro - bay gelding - born 2001

Udermo is an athletic 3-year old KWPN registered gelding by the Selle Francais stallion Hors la Loi II.

Hors la Loi II was registered in the studbook after earning nines for take-off, power and talent in showjumping. His grandam Bourree produced several international showjumpigng horses and finalists in Fontainebleau. At present, Hors la Loi II is started in showjumping under Rodrigo Pessoa.

In Udermo, the jumping genes of Hors la Loi II are combined with Sodermie Z, an elite-awarded mare by the Holstein stallion Sandro, out of one of the best sport families in the Netherlands: the Dermie family.

This family produced, amongst others, the following sport and breeding horses: Jean, Mermus R, Odermus R, Tolan R, Nathos R, G Adermie,C Adermie, F Termie, Zandigo, La Belle de Jour, Matsuru`s Joker, Arnoldo Thor and Toys R Us.

The dam’s line of Udermo goes back via Ladalco to the preferent-awarded Joost.

Despite his show jumping oriented pedigree, Udermo can be considered a dressage prospect with a large walk, and an active trot and canter.
