On the sixth day of the 2003 KWPN Stallion Selection, seventeen colts from the second group of future dressage stallions passed and will go to the second round of the KWPN Stallion Licensing.
The Ferro offspring Metall was the centre of attention with two colts making it to round two and five of them being pronounced "ster", which means that the ster stallion is entitled to a sort of "rematch" in the fall of 2004. However, the Olivi offspring scored the best with six colts passed.
Although Metall himself was in training with the Van Baalen stable in 2000, the stallion himself never rose to stardom in the show ring.
