The KWPN approved stallion Gestion Lancet has obtained an extra owner. At the 2003 KWPN Stallion Licensing, the Horse Academy, aka Joep and Tineke Bartels, became partial owner of the black Prix St Georges dressage stallion.

Daughter Imke Schellekens/Bartels has been riding Lancet for almost two years now. In 2002 the combination booked some successes at the CDI Rotterdam, Maastricht and Mechelen.

"Lancet has a wonderful character and is very willing. He's the ideal horse for me to ride," Imke commented. "He's starting to learn the piaffe and passage and it is my intention to ride Grand Prix with him really soon."

Gestion Lancet is in fact a completely German bred stallion but has been registered with the KWPN. He is by the Hanoverian Wenzel out of Stella H (by Shogun xx x Absatz) and was bred by J. Clasen. Lancet is currently owned by the syndicate Brinkman-Coomans-Maree-Horse Academy.
