Gestut Birkhof's bay Oldenburg stallion Royaldik became the winner of the Stallion Performance Testing in Neustadt-Dosse. After the unexpected death of their best young stallion, Birkhof's Alassio, Birkhof can rejoice again. The 30-day performance test of 2002
, organized at the Brandenburg Federal State Stud of Neustadt-Dosse, attracked 16 stallions, of which Royaldik was the best one overall.
Scoring 8.4 for his dressage ability (highest score) and 7.84 on his show jumping ability, Royaldik's overall score was 8.3 which gave him the lead. The super jumping Balougran (by Baloubet de Rouet) produced the top jumping score of 9.14.
Royaldik is by Royal Diamond out of Heraldika (by Caramel xx). His dam is a full sister to the licensed TB stallion Heraldik xx who stands up for stud at the same station as Royaldik. The bay Oldenburg stallion Royaldik is trained in dressage by Nadine Plaster and stands at Gestut Birkhof. The stallion was bred by Simon Kohlenbrenner.
