15-year old Hanoverian gelding Anthony FRH has been operated on at the specialised veterinary hospital in Hochmoor, Germany. Owner and trained Dr Uwe Schulten-Baumer explained that blatter stones were affecting Anthony FRH's (by Argument/T) performance.
The dark bay gelding just won team gold at the 2001 European Dressage Championships in Verden, Germany, and became reserve champion at the German Dressage Championships in Munster under steady rider Isabell Werth. Anthony FRH will be back for competition at the beginning of the indoor season.
