The Dutch competitors Anky van Grunsven and Sonja Gademann are unable to leave the Netherlands for the World Cup Finals due to the Foot & Mouth disease. The Dutch agricultural government has prohibited all transportation of livestock, including horses. Gonnelien Rothenberger lives in Germany and is able to get her horse to Vilhelmsborg, Denmark.
