As a result of a general ban on the transport of livestock issued by Minister Brinkhorst, the board of Indoor Brabant has been forced to decide that the international concours hippique in the Brabanthallen in Den Bosch cannot take place.
The transportban was issued after an outbreak of Foot and Mouth disease at a farm in Olst, province of Overijssel. The ban inlcudes all livestock and will be for minimum 72 hours. The arrival-and departure of horses has been made impossible with this ban, so the event, which was going to take place from Thursday 22 to Sunday 25 March, will not take place.
