Upon the decision of Dutch dressage rider Leida Strijk to permanently move to England and settle down with her fiancee Tim collins, Kennedy's owner Jan Bardoel decided to allocate his stallion to the stables of Edward Gal in Giesbeek.

Kennedy is a KWPN approved stallion who won the bronze medal in the five year old division at the 1997 World Young Dressage Horse Championships in Verden. As a youngster Kennedy was trained by Birgitt van der Eyken. One year ago Bardoel decided to give the training of his Ferro x Saluut stallion to Leida Strijk who taught him the Grand Prix movements and showed him successfully at Prix St Georges level in England. Leida and Kennedy's last appearance together was at the 2001 KWPN Stallion Licensing.

Edward Gal will take over Kennedy's training and is planning on showing him at Prix St Georges level this show season. Gal is trained by Anky van Grunsven and is partly sponsored by Gestion Stock Brokers.
