Madeleine Winter-Schulze Wins "Friedensreiter Preis 2000"

At the "Turnier der Sieger", the Competition of the Champion, in Munster, Germany, Madeleine Winter-Schulze received the Friedensreiter Preis. Handed over by Hendrik Snoek, president of the Westfalian Riders Association

, the award was meant to honour Winter-Schulze for her versatile dedication to the equestrian sport. 

As long-time chef d'equipe of the German Dressage Team, Winter-Schulze, a highly successful dressage and show jumping rider herself , is also member of the board of directors of the German Equestrian Federation and dressage representative for the German Olympic Committee for Equestrian Sports. Besides years of full dedication to the sport, she and her husband Dieter Schulze are also sponsoring Ludger Beerbaum.

Madeleine Winter-Schulze will be in Sydney the upcoming weeks to represent her German Olympic Team which will be defending the team and individual gold medal in dressage.
