2000 European Pony Championships

The German equestrian federation called the 2000 Pony Dressage Team for the European Pony Championships in Hagen, Germany, a "Bundeschampionate team."

Seven combinations in total have been selected for this exclusive event, hosted by Ullrich Kasselmann and the PSI-team on his premises in Hagen.

From the seven selected dressage ponies, five became German Dressage Champion in Warendorf. The nine year old Dornik B (by Derano Gold) and the twelve year old Dressmann (by Domingo) were two of a kind. They won four titles in a rowby dominating the three and four year old riding pony class and the five and six year old dressage pony class. Furthermore, the 10 year old Konrad (by Constantin) is selected for the Euro Championships. Under 1999 European Pony champion Kira Kroncke this Weser Ems pony will be defending the title. Conrad won the gold at the Bundeschampionate as a four year olds and silver as six year old. Cash and Go (by Constantin) is also nine and under Eva Marie Sprehe he will be going to Hagen. Cash and Go won the gold medal as a six year old in Warendorf. Christine Thomas will be saddling her fresh new champion Diddi Keeps Cool (by Derano Gold), the 1999 6 year old champion and Alice Fengels will be riding her Derano Gold get Domino Dancing. He was in 1998 and 1999 the bronze medal winner in the five and six year old class.

It is more than obvious that with a team consisting of such talented ponies the team gold and all three individual medals will go to Germany at the European Pony Championships in Hagen, Germany, from 23 - 27 July 2000.
